Becky K, is a popular radio and television personality in Zimbabwe known for her emceeing skills. She is also a confidence coach and a director of ceremonies. With her angelic voice and killer looks, she has become a sought-after master of ceremonies who excels at each event she presides over.
She gained popularity through her role as a radio presenter on ZiFM, which she started in December 2016. She was a co-host with Captain Awesome, and they did the holiday breakfast show together. Becky K also hosted the Miss Tourism Zimbabwe 2016, and her performance left the audience and regional countries green with envy.

Becky K’s real name is Rebecca Muchenje. She used to go by “Miss Becky” professional.
Early Life and Career
Becky K’s mother was her role model, and she credits her for her emceeing skills. She started her career in 2009 as an emcee in Christ Ambassadors Church in South Africa. Seven years later, she broke out and began emceeing at different events in Zimbabwe. In 2016, she hosted the Miss Tourism Zimbabwe, which led to a call from MisRed, who later became her friend in the industry, asking if she was interested in a radio presenting opportunity. Becky K had to undergo in-house training to know the systems and how radio was done. She credits management for contributing to crafting her personality.
Becky K is one of the co-hosts of the popular podcast, “The Denny J Show” together with Denford Jiro.
Role Models and Inspirations
Becky K’s mother remains her biggest inspiration, and she credits her for contributing immensely to who she is. She said other role models who inspire her include Ruvheneko, Bonang, Oprah, Khutso Theledi, and Pastor Pushie. As a hostess, she relies on the God factor, some form of charisma, and hard work to make sure she doesn’t relax. She admits that every hosting job still gives her butterflies and fish and that she is humble and prays that she remains like that.
