Judith Ncube Biography | 2008 House Bombing, Political Career
This is the biography of Judith Ncube, also known as Judith Mkwanda, a Zimbabwean politician affiliated with the Zanu-PF party. She currently serves as the Minister of Bulawayo Provincial Affairs and Devolution.

2008 House Bombing
In 2008, while running as a Zanu-PF parliamentary candidate for Emakhandeni, Ncube’s home was targeted in a petrol bombing by unknown assailants. Although windows were broken, no one was harmed in the attack. Reflecting on the incident, Ncube told SADC Election Observers:
“Maybe I am a threat, I don’t know. Maybe I am a threat. I can only walk tall in believing that my presence is being felt.”
Political Career
In September 2018, Ncube was appointed as the Minister of Bulawayo Provincial Affairs and Devolution by President Emmerson Mnangagwa. She was later appointed to the Zanu-PF Politburo on December 1, 2021, representing Bulawayo province. In September 2023, she was reappointed as Minister of Bulawayo Provincial Affairs and Devolution by President Mnangagwa.
