This is the biography of Nokutenda Mangezi a Zimbabwean professional footballer who plays as a forward for SuperSport United in the South African Premier Soccer League.
Education
Mangezi attended Pamushana and Manyame High Schools in Zimbabwe.
Club Career
In 2021, at the age of 16, Mangezi joined the Real Betis Academy in Zimbabwe upon its launch. His potential quickly attracted attention, and on September 16, 2024, he signed a one-year contract with SuperSport United, with an option to extend. This move made Mangezi the first Zimbabwean footballer in two years to join a top-flight South African team.
Mangezi made his debut for SuperSport United on September 17, 2024, in a match against Mamelodi Sundowns at Loftus Versfeld. Despite a 2-0 defeat, Mangezi’s performance was notable, with SuperSport’s stand-in coach Andre Arendse praising his efforts. He came close to scoring twice but was denied by Sundowns’ goalkeeper Ronwen Williams.

International Career
Mangezi was selected for coach Simon Marange’s Young Warriors squad to compete in the Cosafa Under-20 tournament in Mozambique, beginning on September 26, 2024. However, he was later dropped from the Zimbabwe U20 squad for the Afcon COSAFA Qualifier tournament. SuperSport United requested his release due to an increasing number of injuries in their team and upcoming key matches.
