This is the biography of Polite Kambamura, a Zimbabwean politician and a member of ZANU-PF. He currently serves as the Deputy Minister in the Ministry of Mines and Mining Development.

Polite Kambamura was born on 1977.
Education
Kambamura studied at the University of Zimbabwe, where he graduated in 2002 with a BSc (Hons) in Mining Engineering. He was a beneficiary of the Presidential Scholarship Program at the Advanced Level.
Career in Mining
Kambamura has experience in the mining industry, having worked at several mines in Zimbabwe, including:
- Trojan Nickel Mine
- Shamva Mine (LONRITO)
- Ashanti Goldfields
He later moved to South Africa, where he expanded his expertise by working in various mines, progressing from junior roles to management positions.

Political Career
After returning from South Africa, Kambamura entered politics and successfully ran for office in 2018.
Parliamentary Elections (2018)
In the 2018 elections, he was elected Member of Parliament for Sanyati, securing 12,082 votes. He defeated:
- Xavier Abel Edziwa (MDC Alliance) – 4,752 votes
- Simangaliso Chabuka (National Patriotic Front)
- Florence Gwatinyanya (ZIPP)
- Baster Willie Magwizi (ZAPU)
- Gift Nyandoro (People’s Rainbow Coalition)
Following his victory, President Emmerson Mnangagwa appointed him Deputy Minister of Mines and Mining Development.
Re-election and Ministerial Reappointment (2023)
Kambamura was re-elected as MP for Sanyati in the 23 August 2023 elections. In September 2023, he was reappointed as Deputy Minister of Mines and Mining Development by President Mnangagwa.
