This is the biography of Shumaira Mheuka an English football player who plays for Chelsea Football Club’s U18 squad.

Background
Mheuka was born in England to Zimbabwean parents. He is known in English football circles as Shim Mheuka and comes from a solid football background.
His father, Malcom Mheuka, was a professional footballer who made a mark for himself at a young age. Malcom Mheuka was born in Dangamvura, Zimbabwe, and played as a central attacking midfielder for Mutare Boys High in the prestigious Copa Coca-Cola national high schools soccer tournament in 1998, where his team became the first high school team in Manicaland province to win the competition. Malcom then signed his first professional contract with the Harare-based premier league side Circle Cement at the age of 18.
After a stint with Circle Cement F.C., Malcom Mheuka went on to sign for one of the top clubs in Zimbabwe during that time, Bulawayo-based Zimbabwe Saints, before moving to Gunners F.C. (now Yadah F.C.), under coach Moses Chunga and the managership of Wellington Mpandare.
Shumaira’s younger brother, Tendah, plays for Brighton & Hove Albion’s academy.

Age
Shumaira Mheuka was born on 20 October 2007.
Club Career
Mheuka joined Brighton & Hove Albion as a 9-year-old and progressed well through the club’s academy, making his debut at under-18 level while only fourteen years old. He featured for the Seagulls in the 2021-22 season in the first three games of the English U18s Premier League and scored his first goal for Brighton Hove when he was 14 years old.
In July 2022, Mheuka signed with fellow Premier League club Chelsea. He made his debut for Chelsea’s under-18 team in a 2–1 win over West Bromwich Albion in October 2022.

International Career
Shumaira Mheuka represented England U15s at youth internationals, making his debut in April 2022, and as of July 2022, he had scored two goals in two appearances.
On 6 September 2023, Mheuka made his England U17 debut and scored during a 3-2 defeat to Portugal at the Pinatar Arena. He was included in the squad for the 2024 UEFA European Under-17 Championship and scored during the last group game against Spain. He also started in their quarter-final elimination against Italy.
