Club Career
In the 2019/20 season, Maswanhise marked his breakthrough with seven appearances in the Under-18s. His Development Squad debut occurred against West Ham United in March 2021, with a subsequent inclusion on the bench for a Premier League fixture at Old Trafford. Throughout the 2020/21 season, Maswanhise’s participation in the Under-18s increased, accumulating 20 league appearances, six assists, and a goal.
The 2021/22 season saw Maswanhise’s positive progress continue. Impressing during pre-season training with the first team, the 19-year-old featured in all 29 of the Development Squad’s competitive fixtures. Notably, he scored 10 goals in PL2, displaying versatility by playing on the left or in the centre. His remarkable individual efforts earned nominations for the Club’s Goal of the Month competitions. In the 2022/23 season, Maswanhise made a strong start, finding the net in all of Leicester City’s opening six fixtures across two competitions. He was honoured with the Leicester development side Player of the Year award for the 22/23 season.

Despite being eligible to play for England, Maswanhise chose to represent the Zimbabwe national team, expressing his deep connection to his birthplace. Maswanhise stated,
