Coaching Career
Ndiraya transitioned to coaching after his playing career, initially serving as assistant coach to Callisto Pasuwa at Dynamos. However, Ndiraya departed the club following reports of a breakdown in their working relationship. He returned to Dynamos after Pasuwa’s contract ended and was rehired as an assistant coach to David Mandigora in 2014, in preparation for the 2015 season.
Following Mandigora’s departure, Ndiraya took over as head coach and guided Dynamos to a strong finish in 2015, although his contract was not renewed. He then moved to Ngezi Platinum, where he achieved notable success by leading the club to victory in the Chibuku Super Cup, securing a spot in the CAF Confederations Cup.
Despite this success, Ndiraya was dismissed by Ngezi Platinum in 2018 due to poor results. He returned to Dynamos in 2019, replacing Lloyd Chigowe as head coach. He was assisted by Biggie Zuze and Gift Muzadzi.
In May 2022, Ndiraya was suspended by Dynamos after a crisis meeting, amid speculation of accusations involving corruption and insubordination. However, his suspension was lifted later that month after being cleared by the club’s disciplinary committee. Despite his reinstatement, the team’s performance declined, and in November 2022, it was announced that his contract would not be renewed.
In January 2023, Ndiraya was appointed head coach of Simba Bhora Football Club, replacing Authur Tutani, who had led the team to success in the Northern Region Soccer League but did not hold the required coaching qualifications for the Premier Soccer League.
Additional Roles
Ndiraya has also contributed to the development of young players, having worked as a coach at Gateway High School, where he led the school football team.
