This is the biography of Yvonne Mapika-Manwa, a football administrator from Zimbabwe, currently serving as the CEO of the Zimbabwe Football Association (ZIFA).

Career
In May 2022, Yvonne Mapika-Manwa was appointed as the Chief Executive Officer of Ngezi Platinum Stars, a month after the club had fired Nyasha Kadenge. The reasons for Kadenge’s dismissal were not disclosed.
Prior to her role at Ngezi Platinum Stars, Mapika-Manwa held various positions, including general manager, finance administration manager, and operations manager in different manufacturing and service industries.
In November 2023, the Zimbabwe Football Association (ZIFA) appointed Yvonne Mapika-Manwa as its Chief Executive Officer, effective from November 1, 2023. She became the second woman to assume the post of ZIFA CEO, after Henrietta Rushwaya.
Mapika-Manwa’s contract with ZIFA was a short-term agreement, running from November 1, 2023, to June 30, 2024, which coincided with the end of the mandate of the FIFA-appointed ZIFA Normalisation Committee.
ZIFA had been operating without a substantive CEO since 2021 when the Sports and Recreation Commission (SRC) suspended Joseph Mamutse.
