Rick Ross First Concert In Zimbabwe: Ticket Prices, Performance Fee, Supporting Acts, Attendance, Venue
Rick Ross, the famous American rapper, performed at the Harare International Conference Centre (HICC) in Zimbabwe for the first time on 18 November 2022. The concert, which was organised by ROAR Entertainment, attracted thousands of fans who came from different parts of the country to watch him perform.
The stage was set with high-quality equipment, and the lighting and sound effects were exceptional. Fans eagerly awaited Rick Ross’ arrival, and the atmosphere was electric as they chanted his name. When he finally appeared on stage, the crowd erupted in cheers and applause.
Rick Ross delivered an electrifying performance, performing some of his biggest hits such as “Hustlin,” “B.M.F.,” and “Aston Martin Music,” among others.
How Much Were The Tickets To Rick Ross’ Show In Zimbabwe
Tickets were sold at all Pick n Pay branches at BancABC kiosks. There was also an option to buy using a visa card or pay with PayPal on the ROAR Entertainment website. The tickets were also sold on the Computicket website.
General access early bird tickets cost US$50 per individual while early bird VIP tickets cost US$150.
The VVIP Premium ticket which gave ten people access to be close to Rick Ross, 10 Belaire Champagne bottles and security were sold for US$5000.
There were three rows with tables reserved for VVIP ticket holders
The full prices of the tickets to Rick Ross’ show in Zimbabwe are listed below:
- General Access early bird- US$50 after the expiration of the early bird period on 20 September 2022, the ticket was sold for US$70
- VIP early bird- US$150 after the expiration of the early bird period on 20 September 2022, the ticket was sold for US$200
- VVIP Silver- US$2500 after the expiration of the early bird period on 20 September 2022, the ticket was sold for US$3000
- VVIP Gold- US$4000
- VVIP Premium- US$5 000
Supporting Performers
A number of Zimbabwean and South African musicians and DJs were billed to perform alongside Rick Ross.
Zimbabwean musicians who were billed to support Rick Ross were Nutty O, Kikky, Saintfloew, Holy Ten and Takura. Wheel spinners Raydizz, Madeherbelieve and Rimo were also billed to perform.
South African musicians Nasty C and DJ Maphorisa were also contracted to perform at Rick Ross’ debut show in Zimbabwe.
How Much Was Rick Ross Paid To Perform In Zimbabwe
While it was never publicly revealed by the organisers of Rick Ross’ show in Zimbabwe, a journalist named Nickson Mpofu said the American rapper was paid US$175 000 to perform.
