Dr Tawanda is married to Boipelo Mogwera Kasaira, who is also known by her stage name, Chomza. She was born and raised in Mafikeng, in South Africa’s North West province. The couple married on April 27, 2019. According to Dr. Tawanda, he paid R80,000 as lobola, and their wedding cost nearly R52,500.
Children
Dr Tawanda and his wife Chomza have a son named Tawanda Junior. In addition, Dr. Tawanda has four other children.

Career
After relocating from Zimbabwe to Botswana, Dr. Tawanda initially worked as a security guard for a scrap metal company. Despite these challenges, he eventually made his mark in the music industry.
Dr. Tawanda splits his time between Gaborone, Botswana, and Mafikeng, South Africa. He is credited with revolutionizing the sound of Batswana musicians, bringing a fresh touch to the evolving music scene at Mega Bass Studios.
One of his notable projects was producing Zoey Sifelani’s debut album Totsemukira. The eight-track album featured collaborations with artists like Sulumani Chimbetu on the track “My Valentine” and popular chanter Shiga Shiga. Dr. Tawanda revealed that he produced the album in his bedroom.
In addition to remixing Alick Macheso’s songs, Dr. Tawanda has released several singles, including “Unconquerable,” “Ambuye,” and “Hosana.”
