Background
Camron Mpofu was born in Kirkcaldy, Scotland to a Zimbabwean mother and father.

Club Career
In July 2024, Camron Mpofu joined the Manchester United Football Club’s Under-16 side after being scouted by the academy. Manchester United reportedly beat out competition from several other clubs to sign Mpofu.
Prior to joining Manchester United, Mpofu played for the Real Fife youth team and then signed for Reading after a six-week trial, going through the ranks at the English League One club.

International Career
Camron Mpofu is eligible to play for either the Scotland or Zimbabwe national teams, as he was born in Scotland to a Zimbabwean mother and father. Mpofu has represented both England and Scotland at the youth level. He was initially part of the England youth teams, but in April, he made his debut for the Scotland U15 national team, playing against Spain and Hong Kong. Earlier in 2024, he had been called up by the England national team for a training camp.
