Dion Myers Cricket Career
Myers’ cricketing journey began with local leagues, where he showcased his talent as a top-order batsman. In December 2020, he made his first-class debut for the Mountaineers in the 2020–21 Logan Cup. His elegant strokeplay and solid technique caught the attention of selectors.

Prior to his first-class debut, Dion was part of Zimbabwe’s squad for the 2020 Under-19 Cricket World Cup. In April 2021, he made his List A debut, representing the Mountaineers in the 2020–21 Pro50 Championship. Notably, he scored his maiden half-century in List A cricket during a Zimbabwe A series against South Africa A.
In July 2021, Myers earned his Test cap for Zimbabwe against Bangladesh. His debut match showcased his potential as a future asset for the team. Following the Test series, he made his ODI and T20I debuts against Bangladesh in the same year. His aggressive approach in T20 cricket and solid performances in ODIs have contributed to Zimbabwe’s cricketing landscape.

In July 2024, during India’s T20I tour of Zimbabwe, Myers scored his highest, smashing 65 runs and getting his maiden 50 in the third match in the series.
