This is the biography of DJ Scott, whose real name is Scott Matengambiri, a former radio personality known for hosting various shows on Power FM, including Ladies Night, Love Bites & Chocolates & Roses, and the afternoon drive slot called the Hard Drive.

Career
Scott Matengambiri officially joined Power FM in Gweru in January 2002, after successfully passing auditions in 2001. Prior to this engagement, he had passed two previous auditions but didn’t receive any official offers. He left Gweru in 2009.
In June 2008, it was reported by The Herald that Scott Matengambiri had been fired from Power FM for failing to report for duty at the end of his leave.
In March 2022, Scott Matengambiri was appointed as the Station Manager of Power FM.
Sexual Harassment Scandal
In October 2023, DJ Scott was suspended by the Zimbabwe Broadcasting Corporation (ZBC) following allegations of sexual harassment. According to ZBC sources, a complaint was made against Matengambiri, accusing him of demanding oral sex from a female subordinate. It was reported that he had been pressuring the young employee in exchange for a job offer. Reports also indicated that Matengambiri was considering resigning to avoid a disciplinary hearing with ZBC’s human resources department.

Awards
DJ Scott has been recognized for his contributions to the radio industry. He won The Most Interactive Radio Personality award and was nominated for the Zim Radio Awards in categories such as Best Urban Groove Sound DJ and the most popular male DJ.
