What Is Herman’s Real Name?
Herman’s real name is Mukombe Mupelo Herman, and he is of Zimbabwean Congolese heritage. His parents are Mugeni Mukunda and Ebondo Kitunda, and the family stays in Waterfalls, Harare.
Herman’s Age & Date of Birth (Birthday)
Herman is an “ama2000 baby” and was born on 3 August 2008 to Mugeni Mukunda and Ebondo Kitunda. This means that he is turning 15 years old in August 2023.
Herman’s Education
At the time of publishing, in March 2023, Herman was a form 2 student at Harare’s Churchill High School.
In 2021, Herman was gifted an educational scholarship by President Emmerson Mnangagwa. The scholarship will cover Herman’s education costs till he finishes his tertiary education.
The rising musician was awarded the scholarship after he impressed President Emmerson Mnangagwa and other guests when he performed at the Children’s Independence Party to celebrate Zimbabwe’s 41st Independence Anniversary.
The party was hosted by President Mnangagwa and First Lady Auxilia Mnangagwa at State House, Harare, on 17 April 2021.
Herman’s Career
Herman first released his debut single, “Zvandinofarira”, as a freestyle in 2020. The song was an instant hit, and Chillspot Recordz producer Levels decided to record the freestyle into the song Zvandofarira as we now know it. The song achieved massive success, with the video trending at number one in Zimbabwe.
At the time of the song’s release, Herman was one of the youngest musicians at Chillspot Recordz, as he was only 12 years old.
One of Zimbabwe’s most sought-after video directors, Vusa Blaqs, recorded the video for “Zvandinofarira.” Boss Andy of 1202 Herbal supplied the clothes that Herman wore in the music video.
Following the success of “Zvakanyanya”, Herman has achieved even more success and has collaborated with some of the most prominent artists in the country, including Sabastian Magacha and Poptain.
Brand Ambassadorship for Vice President Chiwenga’s Wife
The musician also serves as a model and brand ambassador for Vice President Constantino Chiwenga’s wife, Colonel Miniyothabo ‘Minnie’ Baloyi.
The Second Lady runs an upmarket fashion boutique called Style by Minnie, which includes “Kids & Teen Hub”. He is one of the models and brand ambassadors for the boutique.

Herman’s Girlfriend & Love Life
In a March 2023 interview, the entertainer revealed that he was not yet dating and had no girlfriends as he was still young. He said he was concentrating on his music and education.
