This is the biography of Jameson Zvidzai Timba, a Zimbabwean politician associated with the Citizens Coalition for Change (CCC).

Education
Timba holds a Bachelor of Science in Political Science and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Zimbabwe.
Political Career
Timba served as the Minister of State in the office of the Prime Minister of the Republic of Zimbabwe from 2010 to 2013 and as the Deputy Minister of Media, Information and Publicity from 2009 to 2010.
During his tenure as a Member of the House of Assembly for Mount Pleasant (MDC-T) from 2008 to 2013, Timba also served as the Chief Political Advisor to the Prime Minister. In this capacity, he facilitated the formulation of policy by the cabinet and supervised its implementation across the government.
Timba played a pivotal role in advocating for the establishment of an independent Media Commission and fostering a more open print media environment, which led to the registration of two independent daily newspapers alongside independent weekly newspapers.
Before his political roles, Timba chaired the board of trustees of Arundel School and served as the chairman of the Association of Trust Schools, defending the autonomy of independent schools from state interference through legal actions.
In the 2018 harmonised elections, Timba acted as the chief election agent for MDC Alliance Presidential candidate Nelson Chamisa.
On January 30, 2024, Timba was appointed as the chairperson of the Administrative Committee following Nelson Chamisa’s resignation from the Citizens Coalition for Change (CCC).
