2023 Cheating Scandal & Wife Beating Allegations:
In October 2023, Mambo Dhuterere was thrust into the spotlight due to a highly publicized cheating scandal. Controversial gossip commentator Tatelicious accused the gospel singer of having an affair and impregnating another woman. Tatelicious not only revealed Mambo Dhuterere’s infidelity but also alleged that he had cheated on his wife, Mai Dhuterere, with two additional women, sharing images of the alleged mistresses on her Facebook account.
The scandal escalated when it was reported that Mai Dhuterere, Mambo Dhuterere’s wife, physically assaulted one of the women who was allegedly pregnant with Mambo Dhuterere’s child at a car wash in Waterfalls. In retaliation, Mambo Dhuterere was alleged to have assaulted his wife, leading her to leave for Botswana.
This scandal stirred significant controversy and attention in the media, highlighting the personal turmoil Mambo Dhuterere was experiencing amidst his rising music career.
Mambo Dhuterere’s Response To The Cheating & Wife Beating Allegations:
Mambo Dhuterere denied all the allegations made by Tatelicous and lamented how people were quick to deny baseless claims which had no proof. The musician went on to offer a car worth US$20 000 to anyone who provides evidence of the alleged affair.
Writing on social media, Mambo Dhuterere said,
“anouya ne evidence ye fight pa carwash, yekuti madam is in Botswana now or takaparadzana, any lady ane mwana we public DNA or humbowo hwe affair with any of vakadzi vakupostwa avo ndomupa mota iri worth 20K…”
