This is the biography of Raymore Machingura a Zimbabwean politician and a senior member of Zanu-PF. He has served in various government and party leadership roles, including as Member of Parliament for Chipinge Central and Deputy Minister of Higher and Tertiary Education.

Education
Machingura holds two diplomas in telecommunications. He has also completed certifications in:

Career
Machingura worked for TelOne and served as a lecturer in telecommunications from 1985 to 1991.
Political Career
Machingura has held various leadership positions in Zanu-PF, including:
- 1977–1978: Collaborated with ZANLA Forces during the liberation struggle.
- 1980–1986: Active party member and cardholder.
- 1986–1990: Committee Member, District Party Structure.
- 1991–1996: District Secretary for Information.
- 1997–2000: District Secretary for Administration.
- 2000–2005: District Vice-Chairman.
- 2005–2008: District Secretary for Administration.
- 2008–2011: District Chairman and DCC Secretary for Administration.
- 2011–2012: Provincial Secretary for Disabled/Abled Affairs, ZILIWACO.
Parliamentary Career
In the 2013 elections, Machingura won the Chipinge Central parliamentary seat with 71.34% of the vote, defeating candidates from the MDC-T and MDC-N. He retained the seat in the July 2018 elections.

- Deputy Minister of Higher and Tertiary Education: Sworn in on November 11, 2019.
- Presidential and National Scholarships Department: Appointed as head of this department in the Office of the President and Cabinet on November 19, 2024.

- Reketayi Semwayo (MDC-T): 4,290 votes (23.55%)
- Miriam Matengure (MDC-N): 930 votes (5.11%)

Machingura was re-elected as the Member of Parliament for Chipinge Central.
