This is the biography of Kim Sibanda, a Zimbabwean radio personality currently working as a presenter for the Zimbabwe Broadcasting Corporation (ZBC)’s Power FM.

Career
Before joining ZBC’s Power FM, Sibanda held various positions in the radio industry. She served as a Sales and Marketing Executive for ZiFM Stereo from December 2022 to October 2023. Prior to that, she worked as the Breakfast Anchor at 98.4 FM Midlands from August 2016 to April 2023.
Controversies
In October 2018, a photograph of Kim Sibanda with a married man circulated widely in Gweru, causing controversy. The image depicted Sibanda seemingly twerking with married individual Chris Mpasi. Allegations also surfaced suggesting that Sibanda might be pregnant by Mpasi.
When contacted for comment, Sibanda neither confirmed nor denied the allegations. She stated that she needed to consult with Mpasi before providing a response.
“I want to believe someone from my workplace who is after my job gave you this story and the intention is to tarnish my image and make sure I lose my job. If you are to publish the story, allow me to consult the person alleged to be responsible for the pregnancy first then I will come back to you,” she said.
Later, Sibanda returned the call and mentioned that Mpasi should be the one to respond since he would be most affected if the story was published. She also mentioned that she was single with children and pregnant but did not want to disclose the identity of the person responsible for the pregnancy, as it was a private matter. Sibanda expressed her reluctance to engage in scandalous issues and emphasized her focus on her career as a radio presenter.
Mpasi, when contacted through WhatsApp, neither confirmed nor denied the allegations. He stated that he would respond after he arrived home, citing his need to concentrate on driving to avoid any potential accidents.
