Marriage And Divorce
At the young age of 25, Lee Ann Bernard entered into marriage with a pastor from her parent’s ministry. However, she bravely shared her experience, revealing that the marriage was marked by abuse.
She told a local publication,
To begin with I was in an abusive relationship with the father of my daughter before I got married at the age of 25. I thought getting married would rescue me from the abuse. He was a married man and I couldn’t move on because he controlled every step of my life. So when I met this young gentleman whom I knew from my high school days I thought “This is it.” He was 28 when we got married. A week before our engagement he was arrested for assaulting his ex-girlfriend over a money dispute. I dismissed it as her just being bitter over our upcoming wedding. When you are in love you are often blind to the signs. Just 6 weeks into the marriage he started being verbally abusive and it eventually escalated to physical abuse..
Engagement
In January 2022, Lee Ann made a public announcement revealing her engagement to Lincoln Benyure. Speaking to H-Metro, she shared that they had taken their relationship to the next level by moving in together after getting engaged
However, the happy news was met with a wave of backlash on Twitter. Several users accused her of “snatching” someone else’s husband.
This uproar stemmed from claims made by a Twitter user with the handle @ministermjolo, who asserted that the man Lee Ann Bernard referred to as her partner was already married and had children, including a newborn baby just three weeks old.
Asked if her fiance had broken up with his ex-lover Bernard said:
“His break-up was never my business. I told him I have nothing to do with his past, so we never discussed heartbreaks.”
On 18 February 2022, Lee Ann announced that she and Lincoln Benyure had gone their separate ways. She tweeted:
Linc and I have decided to go our separate ways amicably…it surely was a very short journey of love 💘 . Let love lead ♥. I wish him well and have no regrets whatsoever. cheers to another chapter in my life!!!!

On 16 May 2021, Lee Ann Bernard took to Twitter to announce that she had delivered her final bulletin on ZBC TV.
However, in her announcement, she chose not to disclose her next career move, leaving her followers curious about her future plans.
Additionally, she did not reveal whether she was let go from her position or if her contract with ZBC had simply come to its natural conclusion.
