Lucky “Luckie” Aaroni is a Zimbabwean filmmaker and photographer. He is most known for the Youtube channel Bustop TV.
Background
Aaroni had an interest in acting, which he developed while in school at St. Mary’s Secondary School. However, his interest shifted to behind the scene suddenly later. He is known for his fearless and innovative approach to creating productions that inspire and inform people, enabling them to make informed decisions daily. He has been a freelance photographer for newspapers in Zimbabwe which include Daily News and Harare News, a monthly paper.
Acting Career
Lucky Aaroni has a diploma in Filmmaking and Television Production from the Zimbabwe Film and Television School of Southern Africa.
Bustop TV
Lucky Aaroni is the founder and producer of Bustop TV, one of Zimbabwe’s largest youth-run satirical digital platforms. Bustop TV initially started out as P.O. Box before it was rebranded. Aaroni founded P.O.Box together with co-founders Admire “Bhutisi” Kuzhangaira and Rolland “Boss Kedha”Lunga. Luckie Aaroni has produced, edited, and written a number of short films. The organization’s core business is human interest content production, tackling issues that affect Zimbabweans through satire and humour.

Bustop TV has received several accolades, including a 2017 National Arts Merit Award for Outstanding Online Media.
