Oscar Pambuka & Wife’s Divorce

In 2019, Nyasha Makota filed for divorce, citing an irretrievable breakdown of her marriage to Oscar Pambuka.

According to the court papers, she stated that the two had not lived together as a couple for over a year and that there was no possibility of restoring their relationship.

However, Nyasha stated that it would be in the best interest of their minor children if she were granted full custody, while Oscar Pambuka would have reasonable access to them every weekend. She also demanded that Pambuka pay US$150 per child for their upkeep.

Makota also mentioned that during their marriage, they had acquired some household items which were divided equally upon their separation.

She believed that it was fair for each party to keep the property that was in their possession.

In 2022, Nyasha Makota filed for divorce for the second time after initially summoning Oscar Pambuka in 2019.

She requested that Pambuka pay a monthly contribution of US$100 for each of their minor children, as well as continue to cover their school fees.

Additionally, she sought full custody of their children, with Pambuka having access to them on weekends from Friday 1600hrs to Sunday 1200hrs.

According to the summons, Nyasha claimed she had lost love and affection towards the journalist-cum-preacher.

The matter is not yet finalised.
