This is the biography of Prophet T Freddy, a Zimbabwean self-proclaimed prophet and gospel musician hailing from Harare.
Early Life and Calling
Prophet T Freddy was born Tapiwa Freddy on September 18, 1982. His spiritual journey began at a tender age, with Freddy starting to prophesy when he was just 10 years old. His early experiences with faith set the stage for what would become a life dedicated to spiritual leadership and religious teachings.

Prophet T Freddy Education and Formation
T Freddy did his secondary education at Glen View High 2 and Royal College. He furthered his religious education at Soul Travailing Bible Institute from 2010-2012 and continued his pastoral and singing ministry at His Presence Ministries. In March 2021, he revealed his pursuit of a BSc Degree in Sociology and Gender Development Studies at Women’s University in Africa (WUA).

Prophet T Freddy: Goodness and Mercy Ministries
In 2005, Freddy founded the Goodness and Mercy Ministries (GMM) in Glen View, a high-density suburb of Harare. The church quickly became known for its charismatic leader and unique practices, such as the ‘spiritual spectacles’—a claimed miracle where Freddy prays for individuals to receive spiritual sight and prophesy on their own.

Musical Career
Freddy’s passion for music has been a significant part of his ministry. He has produced several albums, with hits like “Kastep Kenyasha” dominating the gospel charts in Zimbabwe.

Prophet T Freddy is married to Milanda Freddy, and together, they have a family of five children, including four daughters and a son named Kaylen T Freddy, who was born in 2020
Despite his contributions to faith and music, Freddy’s journey has not been without controversy. He has faced allegations ranging from ‘snatching’ a church member’s wife to exam cheating and even serious charges of rape. However, he was acquitted of the rape allegations.
