Vanessa Gayle Sibanda, popularly known as Queen Vee, is a Zimbabwean model-cum-musician who has captivated audiences with her exceptional talents. Rising to fame after winning the prestigious Miss Zimbabwe title in 2008, she has since become a household name and an inspiration to many.

Education
Queen Vee did her primary education at Kadoma Primary School. After completing her primary education, she enrolled at Queen Elizabeth Girls High School in Harare for her secondary education. After being crowned Miss Tourism Zimbabwe in 2008, she successfully completed a Diploma in Marketing and Public Relations.
Career
Early Modelling Contests
Queen Vee’s aspirations to be a model began at a young age, and she participated in her first modeling contest in 1997, competing for the crown of Miss Kadoma Primary School while in grade 4. Her passion for modeling continued, and she was crowned Miss Queen Elizabeth in 2003, followed by Miss Harare Junior in 2006.
Pursuit of Miss Zimbabwe
In 2007, Vanessa competed in the Miss Zimbabwe Tourism pageant, finishing in the top ten. Despite not winning, she remained determined to become Miss Zimbabwe. In 2008, she entered the Miss Zimbabwe Pageant held at the Harare International Conference Centre (HICC), and there, she achieved her dream by winning the coveted title of Miss Zimbabwe. The event was made special with performances by Madiz, Tongai Moyo, and Suluman Chimbetu.
Miss World Pageant
As Miss Zimbabwe, Vanessa represented her country at the 2008 Miss World Pageant and made it to the top 15 contestants, showcasing her beauty and talent on the global stage.
Success in the Top Model of the World Event
In 2011, Vanessa’s success continued as she was crowned the Second Princess at the Top Model of the World Event.
Music Career
In 2010, Queen Vee ventured into the music industry, guided by Buffalo Souljah, who believed in her potential. She released her debut song, “Hey Lover,” which became a hit, gaining popularity on DSTV musical channels, Channel O, and MTV Base. Over the years, Queen Vee collaborated with celebrated South African musicians like Da Les, AB Crazy, L-Tido, and Ziyon from Liquid Deep.

Queen Vee values her privacy and prefers to keep her personal and love life private. However, it has been reported that she is married to Farai Matsika, a renowned Harare businessman and former CEO of Croco Motors. The couple is blessed with a son.
