Education
Regina Mabwe holds a Bachelor of Laws Honours degree from the University of Zimbabwe, as well as an LLM in Trade & Investment Law in Africa from the University of Pretoria. Mabwe’s academic interests include international investment, procurement law, and trade and gender.

Career
In her legal practice, Mabwe specializes in drafting pleadings for superior courts and engaging in courtroom advocacy. Her expertise spans various areas, including constitutional law, commercial law, property law, and family law. Notably, she is an alumnus of the Mandela Washington Fellowship in 2015, where she obtained a certificate in Civic Leadership from the University of Delaware (USA). Additionally, she is a graduate of the Brightest Young Minds Africa program in 2017.
As an active member of the Law Society of Zimbabwe and the Zimbabwe Women Lawyers Association, Mabwe has contributed to law development-related training initiatives. She brings a wealth of experience and dedication to her professional affiliations.
Appointment as Chairperson of The Chambers – Advocates of Zimbabwe
On January 19, 2024, Regina Mabwe succeeded Advocate Thabani Mpofu as the chairperson of The Chambers – Advocates of Zimbabwe, becoming the first female to hold this position. This transition occurred following Mpofu’s resignation to accommodate certain commitments.
