Kikky Badass Biography

Kikky Badass is a Zimbabwean rapper, singer-songwriter, model and dancer. She specialises in Hip-hop and RnB. Kikky Badass is mostly known for her raunchy. music videos and suggestive photo shoots. Some of her more raunchy videos include 2017’s “Body Conversations” and 2022’s “Simudza Gumbo.”

Kikky Badass’s real name is Christabell Stembeni Mahlungwa.

Kikky Badass was born on April 15, 1995, in Harare, Zimbabwe, which means that as of 2023 she is 28 years old.

Education

Kikky Badass completed her basic education at Avondale Primary School and later pursued her secondary education at Trust Academy in Harare. Kikky furthered her studies in sociology at the Midlands State University

Career

Kikky Badass entered the music scene in 2012 and quickly gained prominence in the Zimbabwean hip-hop community. Her unique style and powerful performances drew attention to her talent, leading to her becoming a rapper, singer, and songwriter.

Notable Releases

In October 2017, Kikky released her debut album titled “Queen of The South.” The album featured collaborations with notable artists, including YCee from Nigeria and Zimbabwean rappers Marcus Mafia and Jnr Brown. The production was helmed by Wizzy Probeatz, who also works with artists like Patoranking. The launch of her album took place exclusively at the glamorous Crown Plaza Hotel in Harare, marking a significant milestone in her career.

Additionally, in 2018, Kikky released a five-track EP titled “Mambokadzi.” This EP featured a collaboration with the popular zimdancehall artist Freeman on a track called “Rewind.”

In 2022 Kikki Badass featured in a hit song fire emoji which featured various artists in the hip hop genre and zimdancehall genre. Also in 2023 she fetaured on a track ihulumende featuring various artits from different genres. She also featured in 2024 on the song called gore featuring various artists.

Tiara Baluti Dispute

In 2017, Kikky Badass engaged in a lyrical feud with female rapper Tiara Baluti. The dispute stemmed from an interview Tiara had on Capital 26Free’s Keep It Real Fridays, where she expressed her unwillingness to collaborate with Kikky on a song. This led to Kikky responding on Instagram live and Twitter, calling Tiara arrogant and suggesting she should stay in her lane.

Divorce

Kikky married her then-lover and businessman Benias Mupasiri in December 2019, sending tongues wagging on social media. Rumours started circulating that she had divorced in less than three years. Speaking in an interview on Star FM recently, Kikky revealed that she was the one who ended the marriage at a time when the couple was planning their white wedding.

Additionally, in 2017, she secured the Best Female and People’s Choice awards at the 2017 Zimhiphop Awards.
