This is the biography of El Shaddai Sadomba a Zimbabwean footballer who primarily plays as a forward.

Background

El Shaddai is the eldest son of former Zimbabwean footballer Edward Sadomba and his wife Sherlynn. He comes from a football-oriented family, with his younger brother Adonai also being involved in the sport as an attacking midfielder and former captain of St John’s High School Under-14 team. El Shaddai has two other siblings named Elohim and Nissi.

Education

El Shaddai honed his skills as a striker while attending St John’s High School and being part of the Golden Eagles Academy. During his time in Form 2, Sadomba played for St John’s first team and showcased his goal-scoring abilities by netting five goals in 2022. In addition, he stood out as one of the top scorers in a Harare Junior Football League tournament held in 2023.

El Shaddai Sadomba is known for his effective combination of pace, technique, and physical presence on the field.

International Career

In 2023, El Shaddai Sadomba, alongside his brother Adonai, was selected to represent Zimbabwe in the CAF African Football Championship Under-15 squad.

El Shaddai Sadomba achieved notable success at the CAF African Schools Football Championship, COSAFA Qualifier tournament in December 2023. He emerged as the top-scorer, claiming the Golden Boot Award by scoring six goals. Notably, he secured a last-minute victory for the Zimbabwe U15 team against Namibia, helping them secure third place. Sadomba’s standout performance in that match earned him the Man of the Match award. Throughout the group stages, El Shaddai showcased his scoring prowess by netting five goals in four games. As a result of his impressive displays, he was selected as a centre forward in the tournament’s Best XI team.
