This is the biography of Takesure Chiragwi, a former Zimbabwean football player and current football coach. He is currently coaching Ngezi Platinum Stars in the Zimbabwe Premier Soccer League.

Takesure Chiragwi was born on December 24, 1983.
Playing Career
Club Career
Chiragwi played as a fullback and had a successful career playing for various Premiership teams in Zimbabwe, including CAPS United, Shooting Stars, and Kiglon. He was recognized for his leadership qualities by coaches and observers during his time as a player.
International Career
Chiragwi represented the Zimbabwe national team at both junior and senior levels, joining a list of CAPS United players who have done the same.
Coaching Career
Shabanie Mine Football Club
Chiragwi resigned as the head coach of Shabanie Mine in June 2018, reportedly due to a lack of support from the club hierarchy. His resignation followed a 4-0 loss to FC Platinum and the subsequent hiring of new personnel to strengthen the technical department.
Matsapa United Football Club (eSwatini)
In 2019, Chiragwi made history as the first Zimbabwean coach to win his debut match while in charge of a club in Eswatini. His team, Matsapha United, won a match against Malanti Chiefs 4-3 on penalties after a 1-1 draw in the playoffs of the 2019/20 Eswatini Posts and Telecommunications Corporation Charity Shield.
CAPS United
In August 2019, Takesure Chiragwi was appointed as the first assistant to CAPS United caretaker coach Darlington Dodo.
Ngezi Platinum Stars Football Club
On March 29, 2022, Chiragwi was appointed as the first assistant coach of Ngezi Platinum Stars. Initially working under head coach Benjani Mwaruwari, he later became the caretaker coach when the technical staff was fired in July 2022. Chiragwi’s interim role was supported by assistant coach Kifton Kadurira. Finally, on November 28, 2022, Chiragwi was appointed as the substantive coach of Ngezi Platinum Stars on a three-year contract.

Awards
In 2023, Chiragwi led Ngezi Platinum Stars to their first-ever Castle Lager Premier Soccer League title with two games remaining in the season. He achieved this feat at the age of 39 and was honored as the Coach of the Year for his accomplishment.
