Hillary Makaya is a multi-award-winning Zimbabwean model, socialite, and businesswoman who lives in Johannesburg, South Africa. Hillary has made a name for herself at a very young age. Hillary Makaya is living the life only many can dream of. At such a young age, she has her own house, her own business, a fleet of cars, and has travelled halfway across the world. She is the girl she thinks she is, and there is no doubt she is the ‘queen of soft life’.

Hillary was born on the 23rd of July 2001. As of 2024 she will turn 23 years in July.
Background
Hillary hails from a family with a strong background in both modeling and athletics. Her aunt, Connie Makaya, was the first black beauty pageant queen in Zimbabwe, and her cousin, Catherine Makaya, is an Olympian athlete and Miss Zimbabwe 2014. Hillary herself has also followed in her family’s footsteps, becoming a successful model and beauty pageant winner in her own right.

Details about Hillary Makaya’s education remain limited. However, it is known that she attended the High Achievers Coach Educational Center.
Career
After beginning her career as a runway model at Top Model Zimbabwe Agency, she quickly made a name for herself and decided to pursue pageantry. Her first attempt at the pageant world was a resounding success, as she won the Miss Interact Zimbabwe title for teens. Encouraged by her victory, she continued to participate in various pageants, ultimately achieving success as Miss Teen World Heritage 2016–2017 and Miss Intercontinental Zimbabwe 2017–2018.
In addition to her pageantry accomplishments, she has also made a splash in the entertainment industry. She recently made a cameo appearance in the music video for Takura’s hit song “Can’t Get Over You.” With her beauty, talent, and determination, it’s clear that she has a bright future ahead of her.
Aside from modelling, Hillary Makaya is also a brand ambassador, MC, hostess, and business owner.
In 2020, Hillary Makaya was appointed the Face of Kariba brand ambassador. Currently, she is a brand ambassador at Blaze Vape.
Last year, she ventured into the cosmetics industry. She launched her own skin care line called MKY Beauté.
Relationship with Robert Mugabe Jnr
The beauty queen was once in a relationship with Robert Mugabe Jnr. They were once spotted on vacation in Singapore.
“With Hillary, right? Let me be honest. We were in something, but it wasn’t really… ummh…. There was just a lot going on during that time and we didn’t get to actually have a proper conversation,” he said.
Marriage
Hillary is reportedly off the market.Early in the year 2023, she low-key announced her engagement on Instagram. The beauty queen posted on her Instagram story a short video showing off her engagement ring, with the caption
“If you like it, put a ring on it”.
Recently, she posted a video of herself opening Gucci and Louis Vuitton gift bags while showing off her engagement ring.

Hillary Makaya recently shared snapshots on her Instagram account, featuring herself alongside Tannah Israel, also known as Tanatswa Makore, who was formerly married to Bushiri’s sister.
