This is the biography of Sakhile Dube a Zimbabwean video vixen, model, and the winner of the Miss Universe Zimbabwe 2024 pageant.

Education

Dube pursued a psychology degree at the Women’s University in Africa and obtained a modelling certificate from the Size 4 Modelling Agency.

Career as a Model

In 2018, Dube was crowned the Face of Zimbabwe Fashion Week (ZFW). The following year, she represented Zimbabwe at the Miss Africa International 2019 pageant in Cairo, Egypt. She has also won the Miss Inyathi pageant in Bulawayo in 2015.

Dube has appeared in music videos, including Winky D‘s “Kasong kejecha,” and has worked with various local brands to enhance her portfolio. She was also the brand ambassador for Brayzz Africa in 2017 and has been named a brand ambassador for the hair brand Cinderella.

Dube has participated in several regional and national pageants, experiencing both wins and losses. She has previously won the Miss Tourism Zimbabwe 2020, Miss Earth Zimbabwe 2022, Miss Supranational Africa, and Supra Top Model in 2023.

In May 2024, Dube won the Miss Universe Zimbabwe pageant, beating 17 other contestants. As the winner, she automatically qualified to represent Zimbabwe at the Miss Universe pageant in Mexico. She was awarded a Mercedes-Benz C200 (2020 model) and a cash prize of $10,000, which she has pledged to share with her princesses, Lisa Sibanda (first princess) and Ruvimbo Njomboro (second princess).

Philanthropy

In 2021, Dube founded the Zibusiso Foundation, which aims to empower orphaned and vulnerable children in Zimbabwean communities through mentorship programs, vocational skills development, and sustainable income-generating projects.
