MisRed – Biography & Profile
MisRed is a well-known Zimbabwean radio and television personality, philanthropist, brand ambassador, events MC, and host. She is best known for anchoring the ZiFM Stereo Drive Time Show, The Rush Drive Time. She is a Media Personality Influencer and Brand Ambassador for ZiFM Stereo as a co-host on The Ignition, the daily breakfast show on ZiFM Stereo.
MisRed has lived in Mozambique and South Africa where she discovered her voice for radio. She has two daughters and her industry name ‘Misred’ came from a unique lipstick she would wear, when she stopped her friend told her she was mis-read meaning misunderstood and it stuck with her.

Career
MisRed began her radio career in 2012 as a newsreader and presenter for Star FM. She then moved to ZiFM Stereo in 2013 where she became a co-host on The Ignition, the daily breakfast show on ZiFM Stereo. In 2017, MisRed became the anchor for The Rush Drive Time Show. She has also worked as a TV presenter and has appeared on various television shows such as The Style Squad, Celebrity Insider, and ZBC’s Coca Cola on the Beat.

MisRed has also been involved in philanthropic work and has been a brand ambassador for various organizations such as the Zimbabwe Red Cross Society, the Zimbabwe Tourism Authority, and KFC. She has also hosted events such as the Harare International Festival of the Arts (HIFA) and the Zimbabwe Music Awards.
Personal Life
MisRed has been open about her personal life and has spoken out about her abusive marriage, which caused her to lose 20kg in weight as her husband tormented her. She has two daughters and one of them is named Hannah Asiyah Musa.
MisRed was once caught in the crossfire of Twitter influencer Tawona Shadaya, also known as Shadaya Knight, who publicly bashed her for having children by different baby daddies. Shadaya called MisRed derogatory names and shamed her for supposedly being a bad role model to other women in the country. However, MisRed handled the situation gracefully.
MisRed’s ex, Maynard Manyowa, came to her defence and clarified that he was not the one who dumped Misred, but rather, she is the one who actually left him after he lied and cheated in the relationship. Manyowa also asked Shadaya to stay away from his family and focus on taking care of his own child. Said Manyowa,
Hey bro. So I am one of the baby Dad’s. And I was the problem, I lied, cheated & she left. Man to man I also don’t appreciate you saying stuff you know nothing about for mileage, especially about my family. Nobody says stuff about your mum, not cause we can’t, but #respect.
He also asked Shadaya to stay away from his family and focus on taking care of his own child.
You may want to riritira your kids, the same way I do mine. I didn’t make your mum who she is, nor make you a deadbeat. Not my business but it can be. I just ask that you stay away from my kids as I do yours, please.
